It was love at first sight! I knew the Tea Boutique Suite would be on my preorder. For my customer thank you cards I've started with the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes. I think they turned out quite pretty.

Next I assembled my supplies for one color - Orchid Oasis. I'm a fan of the new 2022-2024 In Colors! The strip for the side front is 1.5 inches x 5.5 inches. I took one 6 x 6 piece of the Tea Boutique DSP (Designer Series Paper) cut the bottom 1/2 inch off; then cut my 4 strips. The hardest part was deciding which design to use! I chose another neutral sheet of this DSP to cut the scalloped circles.

Using scraps of cardstock, when possible, I cut the detailed leaves from Artistic Dies. I stamped the sentiment and tag outline on basic white cardstock and cut it at the same time I cut the tea cup. This used up lots of basic white scraps. The design for the teacup is cut from 2022-2024 Glimmer Paper.

The tea bag tag is attached to the teacup using a 3 1/2 inch stip of matching metallic woven ribbon. I embellished with Rhinestone Basic Gems.

All the cards on my dining room table, ready to send!

Paper Crafting Blog Hop Tulip Double Flap Card

7

Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Independent Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators from all over the globe including the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. Our theme this month is flowers. I hope you enjoy all of the wonderful projects!

You’ve just left Krissi’s blog, I always love her cards, don’t you?

I’m going to begin with the measurements, then I’ll show you how I put it together in this Double Flap Fun Fold which I think is a variation on the Joy Fold Card. This one just gives more opportunity to show off lovely DSP (designer series paper.)

I used Basic White Cardstock for my card base. Notice that this is cut at 5 1/2" x 10" (14.9 cm x 23.7 cm).  After cutting the DSP, I decided to use both the front and back sides. Don't you just love that Stampin' Up! ® DSP is double sided!

I adhered two strips to the insert and adhered this to the cardbase. The right side is a little larger and it folds first with the right side on top. Here is what mine looks like:

My next step was making the small card that folds over - again I used Basic White Cardstock. I added DSP and my stamped sentiment to the inside of the card. This card opens to the right and goes over the flap of the larger card. I adhered another piece of DSP to the outside of the second card and decided a belly band would be a great way to hold this closed.

There are several ways to keep the card closed and I decided on a decorated belly band.

The belly band is wrapped with Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon. The focal point is Mango Melody cardstock cut with a scalloped circle from layering circles dies. I stamped two tulips onto white cardstock and die cut with a smaller circle then added one of the die cut tulips. For bling I used Wink of Stella on the tulip and brass butterflies.

I hope you enjoyed the card and know you'll like the next flower creation by Traci Gardner.

Stampin' With Friends Retiring Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our fond farewell to some well loved Stampin' Up! ® products. We have loved the these stamps, dies, embossing folders and colors but on May 3, 2022 it will be time to let them rest as we create and share products from the new catalog.

I am choosing to create my card using Very Versailles Stamp Set, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, Cinnamon Cider ink and cardstock, Just Jade ink, 2020-2022 In-Color Square Gems, Detailed Trio Punch and Treasured Tags Pick-A-Punch. Wow, that's a lot of retiring products! There is still time to get some of these great products, check the retiring list!

Non-retiring products used are Early Espresso Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, and Copper Foil.

I have always liked Very Versailles for distressed cards. I stamped using two different stamps and Cinnamon Cider ink, tore one side and brushed the edges with Cinnamon cider ink using a blending brush on the edges. I ran a piece of copper foil sheet through my Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

The sentiment is stamped and the ends are punched with the Treasured Tags Pick-a-Punch. The piece of Cinnamon Cider is rounded with the Detailed Trio punch.

Inside is stamped with Just Jade ink in the corners and adhered to the inside of the card.

Measurements:
Cardbase: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Copper Foil and Very Vanilla for the inside: 4" x 5 1/4"
Very Vanilla scrap for the front stamping: 3" x 5 1/4"
Very Vanilla scrap to fit sentiment
Cinnamon Cider Scrap to layer sentiment
Two small pieces of Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim as accents on the Cinnamon Cider sentiment layer.

Thank you again for stopping by my blog on the hop and I hope you enjoy this card.

The next stop on the hop is _____________________; I know you will enjoy her project.
