I hope this post finds you and your family well and safe.

If you are banking crafting hours because you are dusting, organizing and cooking, would you like to join me for a virtual Global SU Share Fair? I have teamed with fellow demonstrators around the globe to bring Facebook Live video demonstrations into your stamp space over next weekend, April 25th. We start in Australia, head to the United Kingdom next, visit Canada and end in USA.

Demonstrators will share products you can gather from your stamp space prior to the event so you can create along with us. If you don't have the exact supplies, gather similar items you do have. Then share what you created along with us in the group.

Joining the Facebook Global SU Share Fair is by invitation only. So please contact me to receive your invitation. You will need to accept the invitation to join the group. You must have a Facebook account to join the group.

We are looking forward to sharing super awesome projects with you! Join us!

Peaceful Poppies Friendship Card

Hello Stampers!

I hope you are well and safe! Please follow my page and subscribe to my newsletter. :-)

I have to tell you that yesterday was a super stressful day for me; for some unknown reason I decided I should do a Facebook Live. I created the card, worked and worked on figuring out the camera and then...went live - sideways. Nothing I could do about it so ahead I went. I see areas to improve (lots of them to be exact) but had a pretty good time and plan on trying it next week. In my Stampin’ With Nutsy Facebook page I promised to post a tutorial here. The recipe is at the end of this post.

Here I am with the card to begin the video. This card truly has a lot of WOW for being so easy to make.

On my sample card I embossed the Designer Series Paper using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, part of the Ornate Garden early release from the 2020-2021 Catalog.

Knowing that not everyone has access to an embossing machine, I made the on on Facebook without the embossing.

Picture is from the live video, showing cardstock needed and measurements.

If you would like to purchase any Stampin’ Up Products, and you live in the United States, I would be honored to have you purchase from me. There is a shop now button above or you can click on a supply item in the recipe, on the These Are My Stamps, site to purchase.

Happy Stamping!
Nancy :-)

Peaceful Poppies Friendship Card: My first Facebook Live features this card. It’s also sideways, but that’s another story. LOL

Positive Thoughts Fancy Fold

I’m so happy you stopped by my blog today! I hope you enjoy this card; you will find the link to the card recipe at the end of this blog post.

What do you think when you hear “HAPPY MAIL”? The term brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart. The best part of making cards is sending them off to tell our family and friends they are in our thoughts and heart. Do you enjoy mailing off the cards you make?

This one went to a special lady who just moved into a nursing home. My hope is that receiving this card let her know she is loved and not forgotten, even if visitors are not allowed now due to current world conditions.

This card features Designer Series Paper (DSP) as the card base. You can choose your favorite DSP, it will take a piece cut at 5.5” X 12”. The card recipe has the scoring directions but do be careful when scoring DSP, in general it is lighter weight than regular cardstock. Scoring too aggressively will tear the paper (yes, I know this from experience!)

After scoring, there will be 4 sections, a small front, sections 2 and 3 are the same size, and the larger back of the card. I chose to glue sections 2 and 3 together.

Stampin’ Up® Nature’s Thoughts are used extensively in this card.

There are a lot of pieces to this card but the end result is worth it.

It would be my pleasure to help you in your creative efforts. Please click the button above to follow my blog or on the shop button to shop for supplies.

Thank you again for visiting.

Thank you for stopping by today to visit my blog. I hope today finds you healthy and safe. It can be difficult to be home, but remember, by staying home we all help flatten the curve of this pandemic and hopefully life will return to normal sooner than expected.

I am working on remembering we are “safe at home” not “stuck at home.”

I thought my customers would like a challenge so put previous card packs into baggies, 7 cards per bag and included ribbon, past Paper Pumpkin stamps, and embellishments. I will post cards as my friends send them to me.

Basket full of goodies.

Here are a few pictures of the cards we’ve done in the past:

I find keeping busy helps the time pass so kept a few for myself!

If you would like any card making or scrapbooking supplies, click the SHOP button above to head over to my store.

Also, please sign up for my newsletter and subscribe to my blog - most projects link to a card recipe.
