Welcome to our Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring talented Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from the United Kingdom, Australia and the USA. We hope you enjoy the fun projects and design styles from this talented group. You may have arrived from Julie Mazur's blog, isn't her project fabulous!

For me, it was love at first sight with the Fine Art Floral Suite-stamps, dies, designer series paper, embossing folder, ribbon and so much more - wow! There is so much texture in the designer series paper and the colors are inspiring! You could choose any of the designs, here is a sampler for you to enjoy:

I stamped the flower using Poppy Parade ink onto white cardstock, using first generation ink on the detail stamp and second generation ink for the main image. I cut it out using the die then spritzed it with a mixture of Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. A picture can't do it justice!  I also stamped the leaf using Mossy Meadow Ink on Mossy Meadow cardstock, cut it with the die, then decided it also needed some sparkle so used Wink of Stella.

Next I stamped my sentiment from the FREE (I do like free!) Sale-A-Bration set Heal Your Heart on Poppy Parade cardstock with VersaMark and used White embossing powder.  I used the Story Label Punch to cut it out. My card base is Mossy Meadow with a layer of gold foil and then the designer series paper layer. I used the Story Label punch to cut a piece from the gold foil to back the sentiment.

The Designer Series Paper is 4" X 5 1/4", Gold Foil is 4 1/8" X 5 3/8". The Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder added texture to the designer series paper(DSP) . After attaching the DSP to the Gold Foil I tied the Fine Art 3/8" ribbon with a square knot instead of a bow. Adhere to the Mossy Meadow card base. Add the remaining elements of your card with dimensionals - sentiment, flower, stem.

The insert and envelope have strips of DSP on them.

  9. I love spritzing with the mixture, it doesn’t take much of the shimmer paint for spritzing.
