In our busy world it is sometimes difficult to remember to send thank you cards! By preparing cards early in the month we’ve got them on had to send to customers. It feels great to be prepared!
When I saw the beautiful Blackberry Beauty Suite in the July - December 2021 Mini Catalog it was love at first sight. Unfortunately, the beautiful designer series paper wasn't available until very recently. I ordered all the other items - The bundle with the stamp set, Beauty of Tomorrow, and dies, Beautiful Leaves; the Gold Vellum Shimmer Paper; the Gold Shimmer Ribbon; and the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. I thought I would wait for the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper but just had to play with this set before I was even able to order it.
I decided to create my own designer series paper using the stamps in the set and the coordinating colors for the DSP - Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Cinnamon Cider, and Early Espresso.
I scored a piece of Basic White Cardstock in half on both sides. Then I started stamping the branch around the center using Blackberry Bliss Ink. The next step was the flower stem using Rich Razzleberry, I added the birds in Cinnamon Cider and splotches in Early Espresso. Then I filled in randomly with the stamps so the full sheet was covered. This seemed a bit busy to me, so I simplified my design and did 1/2 sheets at a time. Finally I decided on second generation ink for the branch and left off the splotches.
This is my first sheet - it's cut into 4 quarters and card front number 4 is made into a card. I thought it was pretty busy, but I do like the card.I am an Independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator in the United States and would be honored to be your demonstrator if you do not already have one. I am happy to help you with orders, online workshops, send you catalogs, or welcome you to my team, Nutsy's Stampers.
