In our busy world it is sometimes difficult to remember to send thank you cards! By preparing cards early in the month we’ve got them on had to send to customers. It feels great to be prepared!

When I saw the beautiful Blackberry Beauty Suite in the July - December 2021 Mini Catalog it was love at first sight. Unfortunately, the beautiful designer series paper wasn't available until very recently. I ordered all the other items - The bundle with the stamp set, Beauty of Tomorrow, and dies, Beautiful Leaves; the Gold Vellum Shimmer Paper; the Gold Shimmer Ribbon; and the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. I thought I would wait for the Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper but just had to play with this set before I was even able to order it.

I decided to create my own designer series paper using the stamps in the set and the coordinating colors for the DSP - Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Cinnamon Cider, and Early Espresso.

I scored a piece of Basic White Cardstock in half on both sides. Then I started stamping the branch around the center using Blackberry Bliss Ink. The next step was the flower stem using Rich Razzleberry, I added the birds in Cinnamon Cider and splotches in Early Espresso. Then I filled in randomly with the stamps so the full sheet was covered. This seemed a bit busy to me, so I simplified my design and did 1/2 sheets at a time. Finally I decided on second generation ink for the branch and left off the splotches.

This is my first sheet - it's cut into 4 quarters and card front number 4 is made into a card. I thought it was pretty busy, but I do like the card.

Here is the one I liked the best so I used it for the cards pictured above. These were for a private group Facebook Live. As I cleaned up, I realized I had quite a few card fronts on my table but not much Be Dazzling 6x6" Specialty Designer Series Paper was left (I absolutely love this Specialty DSP and it's FREE during Sale A-Bration! with a $50.00 order - what could be better!) With the remaining card fronts, I decided to make thank you cards for this blog.

I backed the card fronts with the remaining two Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (I adhered with Seal+) and the other 8 with the Gold Shimmer Vellum (I adhered with Seal.) My thanks sentiment is from the Simply Succulents Stamp Set and the die is from the Potted Succulent Dies. The inside is stamped in third generation Blackberry Bliss ink using the branch stamp; the sentiment, also from Simply Succulent Stamp set, is stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink. The envelopes are all three generations of Blackberry Bliss ink - I love looking at the difference in colors.

The front was adhered to Blackberry Bliss cardstock using dimensionals, Wink of Stella adorns the birds, I added a bow in the Gold Shimmer Ribbon to the side of the sentiment and adhered with glue dots. Almost done - I splattered Wink of Stella on the card front (can you ever have too much bling?) Lastly, I added Champagne Rhinestones for the two with the Be Dazzling layer and small gold metallic pearls for the ones backed with Gold Shimmer Vellum.
